About Jay Barber

Jay Barber opened in 2019 on SE 25th Avenue with one chair, one mirror and a waiting list from the old shop. It is still one chair on purpose. You book a time, you get the whole time, and nobody is waiting behind you for the seat.

Jay came up cutting in Kendall and Florida City and has been fading heads in Homestead for over a decade. The shop does the classics done properly: skin fades with a clean blend, tapers that grow out right, beard shaping with a straight razor, and a hot towel shave that takes its time. Kids are welcome and first haircuts are a specialty.

We take cash, card, Zelle and Apple Pay. Walk-ins are welcome when the chair is open, but a booking guarantees it. Habla español.
